ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I’m curious why you chose the sealer you used? Not exactly what is called for in the instructions. Let me know how it works. Mike

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

The half plugs are the same throughout all that I have shipped. I didn’t know the tolerance was that clos with the drum. I guess I should add to the instructions to push the half plugs in as close to flush as you can. Sorry for the Problem.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

The transmission seems to relearn very fast, just take it out for a drive . I used to go thru the relearn process but I don’t think it’s necessary. Mike

Hi everyone I’m still looking for a 70” Lmtv or trailer drop down bed side. It would be nice if it was somewhat close to NE Indiana. What do you have? Thanks. Mike

When you remove the outer gear reduction units, mark them left front, right front, right rear ,left rear so they go back on in the same location. If you ever want to!

Great Lakes MVPA 28th Annual Military Vehicle Show/Swap Meet August 9-11 2024

I’m wanting to go this weekend and setup an Eco Hubs display… Is there anyone going with a Lmtv with Eco Hubs installed? I would like to have a demo truck..for Eco Hubs. Thanks. Mike

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Yes you leave the shims in place for two reasons. First if you mark the gear reduction units when you remove them. You don’t need to re shim the units if you reinstall them. Second if you use the Delta Locks, the shims space the lock further onto the splines of the axle tube.

    Severe wheel hop

Yes they are tapered lug nuts. In a perfect world they should center and be fine. I had one wheel that was damaged at the lug nut tapers from not tightening correctly. it’s now my spare. I use the nuts shown to make sure the wheel studs are true, then tighten the tapered nuts. These...

    Severe wheel hop

Im assuming you have stock steel wheels. If you do, remove one or two nuts that hold the wheels together . look to see if the studs are in the centre. If not the whole wheel is off. 1/16” is a lot when the wheel /tire weighs 300 lbs. When I do mine I use steel alignment sleeves over...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Yes that’s to clean the rust and years of RTV out of the holes. They must be clean all the way to the bottom of the threads. The install is easier than it seems…. Make sure to put the adapter plates on correct. The smaller disc goes into the hub to help center it. Call with any questions.
