In reply to your question, the resolution passed with flying colors. There is not a distinction between commercial or personal use, basically we just asked for the bill banning military trucks to be repealed. The odds of this coming to a vote in an election year with a super minority is slim...
UPDATE: I wrote and proposed the following resolution at the Larimer County Republican assembly. It was passed and went to state assembly where it also passed. The next step would be to get it on the floor at the state house, but Colorado has a super minority of Republicans at the state...
The only "insult" is the kick in the nuts from the state of CO. No insults were meant to anyone on this thread. This post has been going for years, the preverbial "iron" being hot quote was from 2021, but it is 2023 and nobody from the state of CO seems to care about the registration fees from...
I don't think 800 trucks not being registered in CO is going to bump the needle with legislators or anyone besides us; the "iron" is not very hot. There is no bashfulness or embarrassment from the state about it. The local DMV just told me last week they won't renew my plates on my 1986 M35A2...
