Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
From what I've read on the forum here over the years is that the reason that size is not common on a dump truck is not due to fitment but due to a high center of gravity when working a loaded dump truck and the overall hauling performance where original duals or 395s would work better.I have read I will have about 2 inches between the rear tires which I can live with. Any issues with this tire size on a dump body? Planning on hemmt / combat rims combo.
please keep in mind they sure can be turned up, but the multifuels will actually lose power and be nothing but a smoke show if set beyond a certain point .. That setpoint depends on the individual condition of the engine and whichever turbo it currently has .. Seen some 5T A2's leave the system with a deuce turbo on them .. It can be very satisfying to find the "magic fuel setting" on a truckJust a toy for parade and veterans events. Have a pyrometer to install so I can safely turn up the fuel a small amount.
