Like the title says I need the center to center INSTALLED distance of the ujoints of the M35A3 jackshaft . I am willing to pay 20.00 via PayPal to the first person who gets me a picture with a ruler! I need this measurement before I drill holes for the crossmember . I had gotten a guestimate before of 6 1/2 inches and I can't open it up past 5 1/2 on the one I have. Sooner is Better

Sorry for the late reply been putting 12 and 14 hours in on the M135 on my off week that I am too tired and worn out to type replys..please forgive me!

You're welcome! Don't worry about it. If our paths ever cross, you can buy me dinner!:)
NOT A Problem! You helped me imeansly!!!!!!!

Maybe it's full of grease? Take the grease zerk out and see if you can pull it apart farther. Will the dust cover unscrew?
Well you gave me the courage to pry the HECK out of it and I got 6 1/8"! It was all Suction of the grease inside! I am going with 5- 3/4" seperation to play it safe.

Look like two different shafts.
This is a M35A3 shaft they look a little stubby!...it is the red headed stepchild/Mutant of the M35 family. LOL!!!

A little off-topic - that looks like quite a project! Do you have another post here about what you're doing on that truck?
Thanks! Sure do here: https://steelsoldiers.com/threads/m135-s-and-m-build.172124/
