Hey everybody. Trying to get my deuce ready to sell and I haven’t drove it in a while, started it and let it build air pressure. Started to move it and brake pedal went to the floor. I followed all the brake lines and saw no leaks. Checked master cylinder and it was almost empty. Got some dot 5 and had a friend help bleed brakes, got the brakes bled and feeling real good and strong. Started truck up and built air up, went to move it and pedal went to floor again. I let the truck sit till this weekend and looked over and still saw no signs of leaks anywhere. Holds air and couldn’t feel any air leaks. Any ideas on what my problem could be? Could the air pack need rebuilt? Thank you

The -20 manual says start with the master cylinder then work your way down the line, hydrovac, slave cylinders etc. I had a mechanic replace a hydrovqac on the side of the road when stopped with dragging brakes on a M52A2. Went 100' and brakes dragged again. Replaced master cylinder, problem solved but we expended a hydrovac for nothing.

did the master cylinder fluid disappear again after filling it up and bleeding the brakes and then starting it up?

After bleeding them it didn’t go down much. Added a little more back in. I didn’t check it after starting it. I’ll do that today if I get time to get out where I keep it.
