Bingo !! we have a winner, perfect timing, Thanx Daybreak, im just back from NAPPA with the 1344 oil filter and will spin it on and see how my water temp situation goes, after more reading the -24 im leaning hard to the T'stat not opening till much later than desired, and PWM cooling fan might have issues, time will produce the core problem and a answer as well, fortunately cooling issues are typically easily solved.. Thanx so m uch for the reply and solid info .. mac/mc

I have a unit with a brand new engine and everything in it it was dropped on the side and they rob the control unit off of it but I’m going to be putting it out if anybody’s interested in parts

I love my 1040 and im not looking back. I will report back to edit this review if she breaks down and i cant find the parts.

Same suggestion here. Put the info in a spreadsheet and lock it. We can make it a sticky. When you want to update it, unlock it, and fix things. Relock it.

I need some help with my Mep 1040. Batteries are charged but I am not getting the control panel to come alive. Trying to trace the electrical path to hopefully find a fault. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the main circuit braker.

Jason, what you need to do is start your own thread. Call it "MEP-1040, wont start" or something like that. This thread is about part numbers. Your getting help in this thread is slim and none. And slim left town. If you need help starting a thread, say something and we will help you.

Anybody come up with a nice list for the body hardware like the TQG's? I just got one of these finally & it's I need of some. They're pretty specific. If not, I will figure it out eventually.
