    Salvage yards in GA?

If still applicable and you drive through Lake City, FL, they have a salvage yard of forestry M35s on the left after passing the the airport on the right.

Need Florida Vin check signed in Arizona + repost from other thread

That is what I ended up doing, using a temporary one day registration. Now I hear from the Florida DMV that if your vehicle is considered a farm vehicle you do not need any of this hassle. Is there anyway to convert a MV into a farm sprayer and do it that way? I think I will look into it...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

On second note, I hear the stock ones do not have the backflow valve like spin ons. Where do you get a kit.like this?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Oil filters are not too much a problem for me so far, however the fuel filters are another story. Definitely will look into a spin on set up for at least the two twin secondary filters.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I will check but it makes sense. When I do parking maneuvers I hear air bleed valves opening and releasing air. I was wondering if it was due to shifting but might have to do with steering back and forth.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I was doing my first oil change and fuel filter change and noticed that while the previous owner told me there was no power steering, I do see an hydraulic actuator on the driver side wheel pumping into a horizontal actuator to actuate the right side. It seems to require some kind of fluid and...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

lol. I shoulda taken this "bio-hazard" seriously

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

So I put in a water remover additive after the truck sat 6 months sitting, boy that was a mistake. Apparently it drove out algea blobs out of the tank and stuck them on my fuel filter (which I should have drained instead but went the lazy route thinking I would drain water at the fuel filter...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

duly noted. A big rope is also lighter and safer than my chain too, I suppose.

    M1078 Allison HD3070 Shifting Problem

Nice video. I have an FMTV transmission laying in its box and was wondering if it would fit in a M923 for an install. Looks like it is a bit more involved in electronics and I would need to get my hands on a few modules. Now I might end up selling it or trading it in.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

That is what I was wondering too. Last time I forced a bit of air in the tank it seemed to vent out somehow but I thought it took quiet a bit of pressure to do that. What is strange is that moisture was getting in from somewhere somehow and so I had to put dessicant on the strainer.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Wonder how much I could charge to remove stumps with a 5 ton. lol

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I left for a deployment and my M923 sat for 6 months. At the last minute I put a bag of rice as dessicant in a paper cup I placed on the fuel fill strainer. Came back and the rice did the job as it was soaked some but probably should have put more to keep it completely dry. The truck started...

    My first multifuel?

I was thinking of putting a helicopter crash seat like this. Trying to figure some ad hoc roll over protection...

    General topic: MV “social mass”

I was reading on the concept of ”social mass”, ie how a small issue of a minority can be so magnified as to garner media attention (hopefully positive) and as to seem quite more widespread than it actually is. Well, a hack, or trick of prestidigitation, I have done unwittingly. I have come to...

HET M1070 Barely Moves, No Guts

As said above... I just pressurize gently the fuel tank after rigging the fuel cap with a ball valve I adjust to fit a pneumatic hose. It can be done with a bike hand pump too. I then untighten all the fuel line connections and filters all the way to the pump until everything drips as fuel...

    Engine oil

I thought that Napa/Wix filters were the best after seeing a test but when Adeptape on youtube opened them and showed the crappy worksmanship of their regular white cannisters I was horrified. I wish I could find Mann filters for my M923 if anyone knows which model it is. I tried looking but no...

    Engine oil

I stay away from Rotella due to the low emission ZDDP content that at one point was destroying the cams on Ford 6.7s. Im not sure since then Rotella changed the formula but I do remember that Chevron had to discontinue one of their diesel oils that I bought $20 for 5 gal once at walmart because...

    M939 Wiring /Lighting issue

Make sure the ground/bounding is good. I play with HAM radios and I have the same truck and they tend to develop rogue current through the frame from one piece of electric to the other.

How do you make a LMTV NOT suck in the snow?

Drove during the snow blizzard through Tennessee and my truck did not like the salt corrosion, so I hear you. On a down hill with the M923, there was some ice packed snow on the left lane. I used it but felt iffy on it and went back on the right lane. And then a semi passed me like it was...
