I noticed a small puddlle of coolent today. Looks like it's commiing from behind the heater inside the passenger compartment. I see no fluid coming from in the engine compartment, just in the cab. Haven't taken anything apart yet and I'm hoping it's just a loose connection to the heater...

just checked mine, clean as a whistle! Makes me think my rig was very lovingly taken care of by some humble National Guardsman. :grin:

looks good. My 1009 came white, with Alaska National Guard stenciled on the side.

thanks beanman, I just didn't know what was what under there, didn't want to accidentally fry anything. Fr a ground there is a spade connector bolted to the drivers side fender up by the brake release handle, figured out that was loose in the quest to fix my wippers!

another silly question, and before it gets said, no I cannot read a wireing schematic, I'm trying to put a 12 v cig lighter in to power various stuff, mostly my cell charger, I'm wondering what side of the big resistors in the engine compartment is twelve volts. There's a large terminal block...

that's what was thinking, would it be in the switch on the column or behind the dash some where?
