so i was thinking about this some more today. Im going to be hard pressed to find really anything other than a snatch block or winch roller sheave. So im most likely going to have to build it either way.
I have my local marine/ industrial supplier looking though. check this out The DP Winch...
not bad my friend, not bad at all. I dont have an extra deuce tube and hub though...
I cant see or read the drawing very well its so small, how can i download it in full size etc?
exactly. i want to be able to pull to the extreme right and left of the center of the bumper. I will have the swivel pulley sticking about 8 inches or so from the roller fairlead.
I can build whatever size swivel roller(what the heck are those things called anyway?) i want into it. I figured 6"...
yeah the pulley block mount/towing receiver would have to hold the weight plus another good deal for the stress of the angles. Im ging to try and draw up some plans of what i need. Essentially what i want to be able to do is have the trailer reciever hook up so i can have the trailer or what...

heres a teaser... blasted and powder coated, and i know its not flat or od paint but my truck is a little...
so guys as some of you know i am working on a rear hitch setup, since i successfully installed my hidden winch. Well what i want to do is mount a hitch with something like this built into it so the winch in-line so it can swivel about each direction and drag or pull something in 180 degrees of...
i like my friends CRD, but along with their many issue the blocks cracking will keep me far away from any 24v.
That being said with a clean running 12v a big inter cooler and some mist you can make some clean big numbers, more than enough to snap the duece's axles clean off(i have seen it twice)
the bobbed deuce on craigslist is mine http://www.steelsoldiers.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=2446, i have two. Big red is for sale though. Im keeping mean green and am considering the aforementioned as the power plant
they are complete different beasts, but i have driven a full locked up deuce that had power steering off of a big loader, and a 5.9 mild cummins and the thing was awesome. Granted the safety and tolerance designs are still far behind even 1980's standards i still think that they are quality that...
well the deuce and fmtv are completly different but if a deuce had hydraulic power steering and selectable lockers and another 100hp it would walk all over that piece of chit
