    I believe there are 2 or 3 different possible part numbers for the internal filter kit (filter and O-Ring). You simply need to take the serial number off the transmission and call an Allison transmission parts dealer (I wasn't able to locate a cross to the filter kit - Fram, Wix, etc). As for...

    Don't forget about the transmission internal filter. Oil and filter is around $225.00 - well worth the expense.

    If the M818 is a loud and rough as the M52A2, I would go with the M915 series. I love driving my M52A2 to pull trailers short distances but when it come to the long haul, the 915A1 is the only way.

    When I got an M871, the resistors in the front were missing. If I remember correctly, all the bulbs on this trailer are 12v.
