I appreciate everyone's input...I've put on multiple miles on the one I have without any issues (brakes work great).
Autocar is correct about power, I'll get there but I'll need a sack lunch.
Please forgive me if this is a dumb question but I have very little experience with diesel engines (I've owned an Reo M35 gasser for 17 years) - I recently changed the oil in my M52A2 and took the truck on a short drive. Upon returning, I checked the oil to ensure the level was correct and it...
I have a 1953 M35 Gasser (converted to dump - currently on jackstands getting brakes overhauled) and have been using M35a2 parts on it for years, to include the front glass (I think I ordered mine from Sam Winer motors 5+ years ago).
Just purchased a M52A2 from Motorpoolmedic (his name is Mike) and wanted everyone to know what a pleasure he is to deal with. Mike and I talked several times on the phone about what I was looking for and it was ready to go when I arrived. I drove it home (300+ miles) the same day without issue...

Finally received approval for event #4495 - only took a little over a month. I did find an email address for the folks in Battle Creek. I sent them an email basically asking why it takes so long to get a generator and trailer approved. Can't wait to get the generic government answer:confused:.
