A good friend of mine moved here from michigan, after seeing his truck im sure aluminum can rust there.
This box is off of a 1031 from California, it is a shop box tagged as " Contact Maintenance" for those that don't know these boxs are all aluminum.
It does not have the generator or welder but can possible still get it...
I have this 1010 box without the lower panels, still has the iner guts and heater.

I got a call on a 1031 for sale not to far away, no engine, tranny, T case or interior, I can get some picks and info if anyone wants this truck, by the way it does have the generator .
I bought this CUCV for the axles and misc parts from the county, they bought it for the engine and tranny, I was told that it only had 240 miles on it and that it stayed in So. California so it is pretty much rust free except where a battery acid leaked, the under side is so clean you could eat...
I picked up a 1985 cucv ambulance and am in the process of picking off the parts that I need.
There is no engine, trany, interior or axles left, the doors and fenders have the normal dings and dents and the ambulance body is all there.
This vehicle is located in south Az.
