    How To: Hub Flip

I did mine last week and the same thing-swimming in gear lube and snot (gear lube and grease). Only thing is, mine had migrated into and onto the drum. What a horrendous clean-up job. That made a simple hub flip into a 4-5 hour wrestling match. aua My cork was hard and didn't appear to fit...

    Xtreme 4X4 Deuce bobbed(Spike TV)

I feel your pain Seth_O. Somewhere earlier in this thread, Ian mentions taking the big green machine out for some wheelin'.....if memory serves me right? That being said, there HAS to be some footage laying around somewhere for a part 3.

Is a Part 3 on the way? I check XTreme 4x4 religiously every weekend in the hopes it'll be there.

    C Turbo or D Turbo????

My neighborhood (and all points surrounding me) is inundated with hot-rodded diesel pickups (Cummins, Duramax, Power Stroke) so whistling turbos are commonplace. But if I were to guess? I'd say my C is probably the loudest and proudest. [thumbzup]

    Brake hose civilian part number...availability?

Fantastic. Thanks, folks. I spent some quality time at my local parts store, before getting the part number you all provided. I'm heading back to the store in the morning to ask about that BH41221. Thanks!!

    Brake hose civilian part number...availability?

Hello all! I've done numerous searches and came up with nothing so far so...... Is there a civilian (NAPA, Raybestos, etc.) part number for the front and rear brake hoses on a Deuce? Even an old number would be helpful. My local store seems to be able to dredge up almost anything so long...

One double splined shaft is around $210, if memory serves me right at OEM.

    Oil Leek at highway speeds

Thanks for the thorough description, Chuck. I'm with you in that all my past experiences with Jeeps and such (and even my air cooled VW transaxles) have been "to the bottom of the fill hole". But I can see the military wanting a little "extra insurance" for parking on a steep downhill. My...

    Deuce on 46" tires!

I thought so. Definitely my dream set-up.:drool::drool: But six of those beauties added up to $4100+ delivered. Very doubtful that'll ever happen.

Lockouts on the deuce. Wow big diff.

I installed my AVM lockouts yesterday afternoon. Incredible. They were so easy to install, I thought for sure I was missing something. Silly easy. What a marked improvement in ease of steering and at-speed manners. It's been a LONG time since I've dropped that kind of money and thought...

    Deuce on 46" tires!

Great job, Cessnatwin. That is one mean-looking Deuce now. Amazing what a difference in looks. How does it steer with those big boys? More effort than before I assume? Give some serious thought to lockouts.. No kidding.....I installed mine last night. OH my what an improvement! Money...
