    6.5 starter issues

don't run it anymore without the radiator working, you won't know it but you can scald the rings pretty quick without any coolant. I would get it all back together and then start it up and crack one line at a time and make sure the air is out of each line. if it is a fresh rebuild, it will...

    6.5 starter issues

is it possible that you just had it flooded out running the starter a lot. have you let It run for a while to see if it clears up. you may have pushed a lot of fuel into the exhaust system that is burning off also and creating the smoke and smell.

I thought mine was bad but it was not, I was just laying next to it instead of being in...

    6.5 starter issues

I have not worked with this set up before but it should not matter. check the flex plate for warpage and also for more shims. how old is the starter, could just be a bad Bendix in the starter not pulling it back enough. One thing I do know, if the truck does not start, the starter will not...

    6.5 starter issues

has it started and run before. I had this happen to me and the flex plate was bad. it was warped. when you turn the motor over by hand you could see the flex plate walking back and forth. you were asked if it was a cucv and did not reply. a c30 is a civilian truck and we do not know what a...
