Could that red marker light be an interior light tied to one of the switches? My dad's M37 came from Fort Drum with an armored vehicle interior light bolted to the dashboard with a switch built into it for both a red and a white light.

It's not so much that - my concern was law enforcement catching someone limping duals. During a natural disaster they'll be pre-occupied with other things.

You could probably get away with limping on damaged duals during a natural disaster. You definitely won't be outrunning a tornado at 50 MPH though :LOL:

I couldn't find it anywhere in the operators' manual - what is the floor area of the stock dump box on the M929/M930? I know it can hold around 5 cubic yards of material, but I'm curious about how the bed floor area size compares to an M35 or M923. Is it 12'x8', or something else?

I don't envy any of you removing cabs from your trucks. Just looking at that 5-ton cab with all the wires and cables makes the job look huge! If I had to do it, I'd want either a 5-ton wrecker on hand or a shop with a beefy ceiling-mounted rail rail crane.

Last a I knew a big pry bar and a pallet jack were tools to help obtain the advantage :) I'm happy to know my limits and how to work with them so I know how to do this safely.

I'm not confident in my own strength to do that with a super single. A M37 wheel? Sure, but not this. Plus I won't always have soldier B handy.
