Also check all grounds. I had issues with a few small grounds not making good circuits and it did not want to start.

Check the speed switch below the air cleaner. It has normally open and closed contacts that interlock with several different systems.

Is it starter solenoid on the starter that engages the bendix and sends power to the motor that is the problem or the fuel shut off?

It is looking like I won't be able to to make it to this one. I hope to make it to the fall get together. New job, wife's work going crazy just can't get the time off. [emoji22]

The best, safest and code compliant way would be run a cable from the gen set to an interlock in both panels. Or create an emergency panel that has a transfer switch and you move your loads you need powered into that panel.

What time are you guys going to be arriving? I am shooting to try to be there before noon. I am gling to try to get the shelter in the bottom of the campground or the big concrete structure so we have a place to get together. Can't wait to see everyone and meet the newer people.

I have them spray painted because I don't trust tape. The interconnect cables have colored ends as well. I am the only one that hooks them up and I put tape on them once they are connected and zip ties to keep curious people from messing with them.

I used to power the haspin spring rally, I could have power laid out in 3 hours and picked back up in 2 hours. It is modular and comes on handy. I use parts of it to power my Christmas lights as well. Last I checked I have over 7,000 feet of so cord sets in my inventory.

Here is my set up on my mep004, I have cam lock cables and a 30 amp 120/208 1 phase feed off the unit. I have 1 panel with 4 branch plugs and a rv connector for small outings. If it is a big gathering I have the cam lock cables that feed a 3 phase panel and can spider out to the smaller panels...
Are you able to reconnect it for 208 then get a commercially available transformer to go from 208 to 480? I know you can do buck boost but they can get pricy for for large units.

Are you able to tap off of the shut down solenoid wiring to power your relay? That way when it is energized to run the engine the relay is tripped?

I have an mep004a and what I have done is mount a 100 amp 3r panel to a moving dolly so it is portable. Then have plugs on the side that drop cords plug in to spread out the power. I am out of town and get home Tuesday and can post pictures then. I have used this set up at a few haspin rallys...
