I do not know if this was standard practice, but one of my four M135s (truck #5314) possibly had this all over the frame, axles and wheel wells. It was all sandblasted off last year because I didn't like the way it looked.

rustystud, can you get measurements/make drawings of the bushings, washers, seals, etc.? Maybe we could see what it would cost to have some made. Depending on material and complexity of some of it, I may be able to make some on CNC equipment as time allows.

I suppose I should have clarified that I have never seen the contract number and FSN on an M135 data plate. Sorry for the confusion.
These are 3 of the 4 data plates off of the trucks I own. Is it possible the Ord. Stock Number stamped on two of the plates is the number that is being searched for?
I read that the Canadian Military switched to using 15w40 in these engines. I have also heard that Shell Rotella 15w40 has the zinc additives that old engines need. You'll have to decide what is best for you but this is what I plan to run in mine when I get her back on the road.
