Yes, we swapped even. I know it doesn't seem right to trade a 5-ton wrecker, a 5-ton road tractor and a 1 1/2-ton trailer for one little car, but in the real world, the car is worth more and way more marketable.
Woody came and did a little trading with me today and left with a load and a half. I hope he makes it home ok. He left me with a little present in exchange.

NOS parts
There will be a new vendor at the rally this year. His name is Kevin and he was at Camp Jordan this weekend. He has tons of NOS Deuce parts, I saw zipper boots, light bulbs, bearings, seals, filters, lights, gauges, switches, pioneer tools... I told him he would do well there...
I would have to have $750 for one.
You could take and weld/bolt some rectangular tubing under the frame and slide the forks in it and it should work ok like that. I have seen/made other boom extensions like that before. You would have to have it perfectly level though in order for it to...
The military stuff is a sideline for me, sort of a fun hobby I can claim as business. My "real" business deals in a specialized lightweight concrete building material. In that business, I have acquired a good number of small, manually propelled mini-cranes. I have discontinued this model and...
Another thought, if there is anyone on the way from Chattanooga to Atlanta on I-75 that isn't doing anything and would like to ride along and drive a truck back up, let me know.

I will be going to Forest Park in the morning. I have two Deuces there, but I could not find anyone to go with me to drive one back. I will tow one on my trailer. I would like to get them both off base while I am there. It would be nice if I could find a member close by I could drop one off...
I have a few mounted 100R20 tire/wheels I could bring if I knew they were wanted. I have three that are 100% never touched the pavement for $150 each. Good treaded users are $100 each.
I have one that would be ideal for a show display truck, it is 100%, but has a flat spot where someone drug...
Wow, the expando at Redstone went for $4500! I take it that someone had previewed it and that it had some cool stuff in it. I would like to know who was bidding on that because I have one that has way more stuff in it than that one ever thought about having and I am willing to sell any of it...
Thanks, now that is some very helpful information. I don't usually carry wasp spray in my recovery package.
It concerns me that the starter button is missing, maybe it doesn't run? Who would take that from a good running truck?
Are you failry close to base? Could I store a truck there for...
I have too much stuff to think about listing and don't plan on setting up to sell like I did last year. I want to ride! I do have some stuff that may be of interest to someone though. I recently bought an expando van trailer that was packed full of tools and testing equipment.
There are...
I will be there. I came last year, but didn't get there until late. I can't guarantee I will do any better this year. I remember listening to Alabama win yet another game with one of the vendors at his RV, Roll Tide!

I just bought two Deuces down in Warner Robbins. One of them has a punctured radiator, so I know it won't run, but the other looks rpetty good and I am hoping it can be driven home. It was event #5430 and lot #6012. If anyone is by there this week and can look at it for me and let me know the...
I have several Deuce winches I can bring, but I am not going to unless I know someone wants them. They are heavy!
I have pretty mcu anything you can pull off of a Deuce, let me know if you have any needs to used take-off parts.
If you find someone coming through Front Royal I may get some...
great time
Also left with more than came with and less money, but intended it that way, annual restocking trip. I personally liked being in the shade. The weather was perfect for us, we slept out under the stars. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had a great time.
Many thanks to the...
Great time
We had a great time on the lower field in the nice cool shade. The weather was as perfect as you could possibly ask for. Me and Christian slept on the deck of my gooseneck trailer out in the open and didn't get cold or hot, it was just right, except for the ocassional train, and we...
