    MEP 802A Fix-up Thread 3.0

Started digging in a bit more a little at a time after work each day this week. Got the tank out. I don't think it was actually bad, but that the brass well nut was not seating properly being so hard to get at. Was nasty in there, so I swapped it with the clean one anyways. New gaskets on...

    M1078 LMTV Fix-up Thread

No one would willingly change. It would mean an entire transmission, wire harness, brackets, and controller change out. Then, add TCM. No fun!

    Yes, in the electrical.

    MEP 803A Fix-up Thread

Everyone, I FINALLY got a MEP 803A on a trailer for a good deal, so I am going to start one of my fix-up threads for it! Overall, in good shape. Was listed as " not running " due to alternator being unbolted. A few minor things missing. Trailer is in great shape. Did a quick video...

    M1078 LMTV Fix-up Thread

I didn't do it, but I have no way to know if it was changed during it's service life. I suspect it was. Allison stopped WTECII before the A1 started getting made. So, adaptations were made for production, replacement, and service.

I just find the right people to annoy. :giggle:

    MRAP Light Set

It's all good. I knew about them for a while. A buddy in Mansfield ordered 20 or so of them & I looked one set over. They're cool.

    M1078 LMTV Fix-up Thread

Well, knocked out something that has been sitting in my garage to get done for a few months today. LMHC up & working with my custom made winch & controls. Will be in the next update video.

    MRAP Light Set

I would have added on with you if I knew and split the ride! Great price. All the IR stuff would be fun for my shinanigans.

    MEP 802A Fix-up Thread 3.0

I think when I pull the tank on this one, I am going to make a video for my YouTube channel on it. It will go along with the brass well nut upgrade. Probably not a full walk through, but show where all the pesky hardware is you might miss, about how much it needs to be lifted, and all the...

    M1078 LMTV Fix-up Thread

I understand that. Mine is a basic truck, so that is what the thread is geared too. 3116 engine & mostly mechanical with a WTECIII transmission.

    MEP 802A Fix-up Thread 3.0

I didn't give up on this project. Just have a lot of stuff going on. It's moving up on the list though, simply because I put it in my garage so it would annoy me until it was done.

    M1078 LMTV Fix-up Thread

Well, I had some issues at the Texas rally! Got there fine, then the next morning, truck wanted to lock into gear due to code 25 11. That is 0 reading from the Output Speed Sensor. I did a bunch of stuff to try & get it fixed, including replacing what I thought was the speed sensor. No luck...

    MEP-803A Repair Assistance

Glad you found it! I had an MEP-016B that had a slight nick on the regulator that caused issues as well. Injection Pumps are very fine tuned machines. Digging in can be irritating, demoralizing, and make you want to toss tools. But, once you do get it. It gives you that good feeling that if...

M101A2/3 trailer adjustable lunette ring question

The military didn't order a lot of them like that. They had no need. Removable parts means troops lose things. The manufacture has always had the option for the adjustable channel. Though, like you, I just had a welder weld one on one of mine years ago. Now that I can weld, I will do the next...
