after getting sidetracked with the Ubolts finally got around to bleeding the brakes. Had to replace a few lines as well. had to bleed them three times . Installed a remote reservoir which helped. Didn’t get the wheels back on till yesterday. Took my son and I almost three hours to put them...
more than dirt . There is also this very thick gooey substance. The Interior of the original fuel tank is covered in it . Some of it is rock hard .
the fuel screen tube is welded in place from the stuff.
Sabotage may have been a culprit. When I went to pick the truck up someone had sprayed...
I’m not sure how it got that bad . I have cleaned several fuel tanks but I don’t think there is any saving this one. I just knew the injection pump was a goner. Runs and idles great now
Bought this truck as a non runner. I could not believe the condition of the fuel system. Worst I had seen. Typical case of it runs on anything I think. The good news is after a new tank, new fuel pump, new filters, one new filter housing and thorough cleaning of the fuel lines it’s fired...
You definitely do need to see very many of them . Maybe because so many have gone to the great junk yard in the sky lol. Really I think the biggest issue is parts due to such a short production run although they did serve the military for over 30 years. I figure it can’t be harder to get...

Rear main seal is leaking, Front axle does not engage in reverse and not so sure it...
The front drive shaft is in place. Possible it has desplined shafts but not certain at this point.
The shift rod moves out when in reverse but there is no movement going into the forward position. Not sure if the REB system affects this. First pic truck in reverse low. Second pic truck is...
Old thread but lots of good info. I just acquired a XM211. It is a very nice truck. Equipped with the REB shifter and all of that seems fine going down the road. Manual shift up 55 with ease.
Only issue I have found is the front axle did not engage while backing up ( rear tandem was...
I picked up a very nice xm211 this week. Looks great, runs and stops very well. Today I was backing it into a parking spot and the rear wheels began to spin on gravel as the front axle needed to climb over a 6x6 timber. No luck. The front axle would not pull. The whole 6x6 system on this...
They are not different. Well, the rear support brace on a gas hood has a small cut out to clear the air cleaner. I bent it up out of the way on the 108 hood to clear the multi fuel.
The grill in a gas burner is shorter
