More than slightly bummed out that I spent the weekend in the hospital due to my 161st, 162nd and 163rd kidney stones with lots more on the way.
I did get entertained when the nurse (female) had to examine my junk in front of my wife. Neither seemed to care and at least one of them wore gloves...
When I read about your trip I thought, why in the heck would anyone want to break about that many tires to put TPMS sensors on. Then I learned that they make TPMS that are external to the tire. Duh.
Thanks for contributing to my daily knowledge. :)
Good luck on the trip. My first truck...
Looking at all the pretty colored wires I would rip it all out and leave this:
I didn't see any pics for wattage or resistance in the pics but you can disconnect one and measure to get the OHMs value. THe count them up and use the number to divide into the total of the unit's rating to get...
Must be darn big switches.
Depends on how long you want to run the load on it whether you need fans or not. I run my HF battery tester until it glows. YMMV

Worst I ever had was a cell that popped on one of the...

I understand your wanting to fix it. Heck, I'm trying to get the clicks for the cover which may turn out to be easier than iI thought.
I looked at the pics and my recommendation may be based on being able to see what damage you are talking about. I based it on the outward ripples on the side...
I know you may not like it but if that was the worst thing on my trailer I''d take it and call it a day.
You might be able to "tap" it flat with a mallet.
Make up some story about it being an IED mark.
I had the pleasure of buying an M813 that the air pack was bad. The truck would stop but like Guyfang says, you plan and look miles in front of you for where you might have to stop and your legs will get a work out. In my case Gimpy drove it home for me and I ran chase. ;-)
When we put it...
