I work at a large university and one of our students wanted to protect his supercar (I forget which one but it was a Lambo or Maserati) while he went home on a visit, so he painted it with bedliner. <Insert laughter>

Great looking truck and sorry to hear about the head gasket. I have a question. Where did you get all your self control to keep just putting it into low range and driving through all the cars at the stoplight? ;-)

It was nice to see this thread pop up again. I read every post and realized that if I ever get this type of truck to check and replace the fuel drain plug with a new OEM and while I'm doing it order two so I can carry one just in case. I could possibly go to a parts place and get the part...

And made not far from my house in Ohio. I actually road with a trucker once to take three new Hondas to O'Hare Airport to be flown to Japan for a QA inspection.

If two 31 blems will start a Cummins NHC-250 I'm sure they will start a HMMWV but I could be wrong. I used 31s in everything.

I probably would have just gone with an Airtex E8131 24v inline fuel pump.
