I had one more wheel bearing to do on the back and finally made a step to help get in and out of the cab they are milk crates with a lid made from some screen put inside some window channel from an M211 the step is 13x13 and are bolted to the step
Lugnuts
I think I bought them from Memphis Equipment, and they were silicone. The zippered boots looked like the grease broke them down and they fail .
I could get a year maybe a year and a half from a zippered boot on my 5 ton then in September 2015 I put in the one piece boots and they are still like new I looked in my repair notes .
I started regreasing the wheel bearings on my1967 M52A2 it has been just over 10 years for this wheel and at the time this wheel cylinder was new I took the cylinder apart a cleaned it in soapy water and honed the cylinder on the truck and let it dry then put it back together .
The pin is the same pin used in the front springs in all three places # 7412376 bushings # 7348894 seals #7369960 Memphis Equipment's phone number is on the bottom of the page. maybe this helps
I replaced my M52A2 engine with an civilian Mack engine about ten years age and it has been a great engine . When I find military Mack parts I swap then out for what I have on my truck . When I bought this from a salvage yard I paid $500 for two motors and the one I put in has been great . I...

Years back I turned my 5 ton m52A2 off when trying to restart nothing I checked the power to the starter, and I had power I found that one battery was bad and I was only getting 12 volts to the starter.

If you do enough of them and get good at changing them that is not good either.
One thing to watch out for is the space between the steering wheel and the back of the cab some seats are thicker than others and really limit the space for the driver.
Your Truck looks great. Sandblasting gets sand everywhere I have done it with a pressure washer works better it will take off what is already coming off.
I rebuilt a m211 it had orange paint over the green. I first went through the brakes and wheel bearings then I sandblasted the frame and...
