    new Lexan Window replacement

While lexan or acrylic may be ok on the back window I seriously doubt you will be happy with it on the sides or front. I deal with side x side utility vehicles daily, I’ve seen many makes of windshields over the years made from acrylic, lexan, and the coated lexan with little difference in...

    Yet another sound deadening project

Noico also makes a product identical to dynamat but about 1/2 price, noico Black on amazon. I attached my floor insulation to the back of my floor mats so they can be removed to dry in case they get wet. The mats are black rubber sheet about 1/8” thick with diamond plate tread on one side, comes...

    Inside Hard top opinions

The sound deadener doesn’t do a lot for heat soak, but the foam and trunk liner headliner helped, that, the floor mats and jatonkas canvas shifter boots are all the insulation I have and the ac keeps up great even on the hottest days. Not much weight, about half the box of noico, a few lbs of...

    Inside Hard top opinions

Now im not using a high dollar meter, it’s a iPhone app, but it should still be a good comparison. Something else I did was to make insulated floor mats, I got black diamond plate rubber on a roll from amazon and surplus HET cab insulation kits from fuzzytoaster. Made cardboard patterns, cut...

    Air filter

Pull a k&n out of anything that has been run in a dusty environment and look behind it, you will find dust. I wouldn’t run one in anything, I work on off-road vehicles for a living and see it all the time.

    Inside Hard top opinions

I used a dynamat clone from amazon called noico, I put a layer on the bottom of the trans tunnel, on the inside of the firewall, and inside the hardtop/back, then 1/2” foam insulation in the hardtop and a layer of charcoal grey trunk liner. This got the db’s From 109 (with soft top) at highway...

    (Yet Another) Brake Thread

Did you clean/rebuild or replace the master cylinder? Drums may be warm due to adjustment being too tight or due to brakes not releasing completely. Jack it up and apply/release brakes and see if they drag. If you turn the adjusters top and bottom to increase the clearance (drum to shoe) and...

    2019 TX MV Rally

Ok I’ll find out about ez up in the am and let you know nitro, will let you slide on the hotel room but you still have to drive a MV! Ask Lincoln to be sure but there is a large camphouse with lots of room and showers, I bet you could camp in there.

    2019 TX MV Rally

Tim I’m trying to get my hands on a large ez up awning so we will have a dry area outside the cargo covers. I think I can get a 10’x20’.

    Oil Filter Gaskets M35A2

Idk, I haven’t used 5119’s yet but I will be before Saturday, I guess try again. Check the groove, mating surfaces, defect on the edge of the canister maybe? I’ve seen a bent canister hold down bolt that caused sealing issues. How much oil pressure is the truck making? Is the oil pressure...

    Oil Filter Gaskets M35A2

The Napa 5119’s I have sitting here are gasket material, not rubber.

    Removing, rebuilding, reinstalling Hydraulic Head

Strange that it won’t even fire with ether, regardless of HH it should fire. Make sure intake is not plugged, since it didn’t run when you got it private Pyle is suspect. Maybe rags in intake/turbo? Also verify that valves are moving.

    2019 TX MV Rally BUY/SELL/TRADE

I will also be bringing a new spring seat (water stained cover), and long handled air compressor wrenches for sale. Also I have a friend looking for a m105 cargo cover and possibly bows if anyone attending has them.

    Spindle threads

Correction, that was supposed to read , you can get a thread file, I shouldn’t be typing after 12 hrs in the shop!!! That’s the thread file I was talking about, for really bad spots tiny triangle files work great , I used both all the time in a maintenance machine shop fixing other people’s boo...
