Hello forum.
Do you suggest to block the air ride system when doing heavy offroad, like on steep hills / dunes? What else you would do when crossing a sandy desert zone, except air pressure and 4wd mode engaged?
Christian
You can let the 150psi sensor in, it's not a problem. But you need to change the mode presets to read the correct value from the transducer. Since my ECU can set 4 diffrent pressures you can put almost every pressure per mode. Easiest thing is to inflate / deflate the tires to the right...
Yes right! Sorry about my bad english.
There's a TM about the winch maintenance, but nothing about the motor. Seems it's not serviceable, but I can't immagine that a hydr. motor is not serviceable.
What I don't understand is why leaks when winch is not in use, and under load it's almost the...
it's not the valve on the hydraulic motor. It's a small valve with a spring inside, quite easy to grab with 2 fingers and pull out the pin. it sits on top of the winch friction enclosure, near the winch drum, not on the hydr. motor.
The valve on top of the winch? Thatbyou can pull out with 2 fingers? But it should not completely full with oil, only 2/3 right? so I do not understand where the oil came from and spill out from there.
Or do I not understand the function of this valve? I thought its's to compensate the oil/air...
Hello forum.
My hydraulic winch motor leaks. Oil drops from time to time from the safety relief valve, also when winch is not operative. Did someone had the same problem? Or did someone open the winch motor and did some mantainance on it?
Thanks for any help!

Thank you Ronmar! I think we should test it on a A1R, Third from Texas wrote me and I will send him a unit for testing. Right now is difficult to find a vendor for the MIL plug, but I will do my best ;-)
From the schematics I am quite sure that the important pins (solenoids, wet tank pressure...
I got the bags, but the problem now is to find a company that will be able to mount them on the existing shock. They are fixed with a metal ring, like hydraulik hoses.

Don't know if they really change the wiring on A1R, if someone have a actual wiring diagram for the A1R CTIS harness I can give a look. In my eyes the main diffrence is the speed sensor. A1R use CAN bus, older versions a modulated signal. But I am not using the speed signal because I think that...
I did not follow it because of the poor feedback here. Sorry about it.... Maybe in the future will be a air / electric engaged locker for our axles... Should be great!
