I recently had a set of single hole injectors serviced by a local company, And it made a whopping difference to starting, running, and the smoke emissions.
Over the years I must have had over 20 of these trucks, Both two and a half
and five ton..
No failures in any of them.
However, As soon as any truck arrives here, in very short time ALL the oils get replaced..
And as I have mentioned before in other posts..
Military grade oils are put in, And...

That is one weird filler cap.
first it sits atop a large round spacer, and then lo', In the next picture it sits FLUSH to the top of the fuel tank!!??
If that spacer is actually there, then tap 'vigorously' the fuel top with a small hammer to "Break" the seizure, Then one LARGE Gripper...
GOSH! , as they say...I watched spellbound through all of that...Team coordination comes to mind..

Yes, the deuces don't hardly smoke at all, in fact my fire truck is almost clean..
And my Diamond T is CLEAN completely..but that is detroit two stroke...strange but my russian OT 65 G fug is almost smokeless as well..On multufuel, and has a 4 cylinder 5+ liter Cesspel tractor engine.
