Those are fans covering the original vents in the box. This way I’ll be able to move air in or out of the inside. I did this instead of cutting a hole in the roof. The metallic box is the speed controller for the fan with a knob you turn to control the speed.
Plugging away at a couple other projects that I’ve been working on. A couple fans to move air through the box when necessary. Need to get some power to them. But I’ve got a couple things to wire in the near future. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #M1010
Been thinking about doing this for a while! And with some of the things happening with the price of fuel I decided to get it done. As well the fuel caps are getting harder to find. Both fuel doors are keyed the same and keyed the same as one of the wall cabinets I’m building for a special...
Winter break is seemingly ending. 🥶 Finally getting back to the wall cabinets. Baltic birch of course has skyrocketed but fortunately I’m reaching the end of building. Chop, cut, and seal. Took a little break in the process… 🥃. Assembly to come… 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #M1010
I actually got it off Amazon. After looking a RV sinks and not being happy with the looks of them I came across this one. I spent way more than I wanted to on it but it is reflected in the quality of it. It was supposed to be an under-mount but I needed clearance underneath. I drilled the holes...
Finally finishing this project up... 7 gallons of fresh and 7 gallons of gray under the counter. 4 more jugs will fit in storage under the couch/bed if needed for a total of 35 gallons. Another ✔ on the list. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #M1010

I've thought about it... Here is an interesting explanation about using a centrifugal supercharger on a diesel vs a roots style supercharger. An exception to this rule may be the Rotrex supercharger because of the rpms it can reach which has been done here...
I read about it while looking up some info on rebuilding springs. It has worked well and I think the truck rides better than it did stock. My local Tractor Supply had it in stock.
Tried to get the original heater to work several times in my M1010. I gave up and went with a Planar heater, I gained a ton of space, more efficient, has a thermostat, and is quiet. I was able to make good use of the old vent from the original heater... 🔊
The M1010 box is solidly built and all aluminum except for one piece across the back to support the litters from the ceiling. And thinking back I think the vertical racks at the front of the box were steel.
As far as weight goes, I believe more than 800. Closer to 2000 when you compare the curb...
Took the #campulance out to keep the blood pumping and restock some supplies, 6 degrees last night. I was able to finish up a couple things, the fuse block on the 24v bus bar and the wireless controller box mounted. As well playing around with a $9 downspout pipe to try to tone down the intake...
Here is what I used for the headlight adjusters... so far no issues and I never attached them to the rad support...

I own a couple of Warn winches but never a new one, to much $$$. I'm hoping the Sherpa works out well and the reviews are good. I do have a 8274 waiting for a Willys project that hopefully happens some day.
I think it was Hickey that use to pick up a truck and hang it in their ads. Not...
I measured from the mounting bolt to the end of the heat sink and came up with 7 7/8" as compared to dimensional drawing saying 7 3/8". So mine came in 1/2" longer which necessitated my trimming of the frame. I think it would have a cleared if it was the shorter measurement or just required a...
