The polarity box under the spare tire? You can bypass it. What makes you think its going bad? The main grounds go bad I always add a new big ground from the batts negative to a sanded spot on the main frame rail.
For some reason when you jump a truck with dead batts it spikes the wtec3 tcm. Dosnt seem to do it to the wtec2 trucks. You can charge dead batts and its fine its the “batts stone dead and jump start the truck without letting the batteries get any charge”
If you are ordering the torque rods online I would ask the dealer if they are original military parts or aftermarket copies made overseas prior to buying. So you at least know what you are getting.
So when you remove the valve to clean the restrictor sometimes the old o rings on the valve dont reseat and you end up with pressure on both sides of the cylinder. You can use a generic o ring kit. Use the largest o rings that fit tight on the valve and still allow you to screw the valve back in...
