I have the knockoff cat et it works pretty good. Its fragile though. I also have an otc hand code reader. All it can do is read and clear codes. The knockoff cat et can be used for ctis diag the program is free from dana for download.
I find alot of older fuel feed lines from tank to primary filter get little cracks and you get a little air. Wont loose prime unless it sits for a long time though. And I have seen tank vents clogged by bugs building nests or dirt.
You can mix oil and atf. If you were switching between the two it would take several changes to get the majority of the other out. How low are you? I usually check with the trans up to temp running in neutral.
On the manifold there are connector blocks you can unscrew. The ones on the actual control valves are for remote control functions. The ones on the manifold itself and there is a main lockout behind the upper bank are lockouts. It’s possible the lockout solenoid is stuck too.
