I've got a 6" lift on my M1031 with crossover steering and have no problems rubbing with HMMWV tires. Parts supplied by www.offroaddesign.com I did have to use spacers on the front wheels to use the HMMWV rims, but the tires fit fine. Commercial rims are on the front in the top photo.

Don't see many things made today with rivets rather than welding. Seems to have held up very well.

That and the A1 has 5 lug wheels and the A2/A3 have 8 lug wheels. ;) I could be wrong, since I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in 10-15 years.

Found a rat had gotten into my AF van and chewed some wires in the wiring harness. I can see the damage, but don't know if I can reach and repair it without taking off the left front quarter panel. I may have to bring my F250 and a military trailer, but I will be there.

I got tired of having a drawer full of unknown lock keys, carrying huge key rings on my belt, and when in the barn wanting to open a lock and not having the right key. I replaced all the padlocks on gates, cabinets, tool boxes, chains, sheds, M1031 doors, trailers, etc. with Master Lock...

Actually, it sounds like it's starving for fuel since it will run awhile, die, then not restart until hours later. Check for a clogged fuel filter or pickup tube first.

I just noted that if you highlight a portion of a post, and move the mouse, a reply button pops up under the highlighted text, which will take you to the reply box at the bottom of the page with only the highlighted portion quoted. You don't have to delete all the superfluous quoted material...
