Just to be clear, Tim originally said the last weekend of April, 4/29-30, but the Air Show is 4/22-23. If you are marking your calendar or asking for a wife pass, make sure you use April 22-23.
Not sure about the exact mileage, but it looks like about 1.70/mile which seems pretty reasonable to me. Myself, I'd take $6-700 for fuel and $1000 in cash for potential towing and parts, and drive it home. Check the lists of recovery tools and parts on previous posts and have an adventure...

I know you have to have the mule way forward to keep the trailer from having too much weight on the rear, but watch out for sharp left turns (especially when backing) to keep the truck from hitting the mule foot rack. Have you considered loading the mule backwards?
