Got the Deuce to the car wash and got all the airborne crud washed off. Now were due for more 40mph winds tonight. Later today I'll have the tire store rotate the front tires.
@kendelrio me too Ken. I thought mentioning that Bertha was a Grateful Dead song would generate some votes. Well I was wrong, I guess there aren't to many Dead Heads here. This month started a little slow, but what a great finish. 🍺
I finished reinstalling the fuel tank yesterday and all seems well. No leaks. The new fuel tank sending unit seems to work fine, and I added grade 8 hardware to the fuel tank hold down straps. We had a large wind storm come through early this week so today I'm going to wash the truck and vacuum...
RAAF C-17 Globemaster + Roulettes | Brisbane Riverfire 2018 Flying Displays - YouTube It doesn't get much lower than this Australian Air Force C-17 doing an airshow routine in Brisbane.

With the fuel tank removed, I was able to remove the forward r/h splash guard. It was a bit tweaked, so I straightened it out with a hard rubber mallet and a couple of 2X4s. It had a lot of excess paint that was flaking, so I spent some time with the sander and got rid of the crusty paint. Then...
Guys I volunteered for this assignment along with my partner in crime m715mike. In the past I have entered my M35A2C and M38A1. So doing an MV of the Month on Ken's M923A2 Bertha is a new challenge. I have never owned a 5 Ton, but I want to do Bertha right. I'll start with some basic information...
