I finally decided to replace the Fuel Gauge Sending Unit on the Deuce. If the fuel gauge gets a little below FULL the needle starts to bounce all over the place, and I already replaced the fuel gauge. I have also scrubbed the fuel tank out, and will replace the fuel gauge sending unit gasket...
Here's the B-29 "DOC" in 1987 at NAS China Lake. She was the last B-29 at China Lake, and she wouldn't be removed till 1998. In 2000 she was disassembled and moved to Wichita for restoration.

Today I did an oil and filter change. Usually I use 30wt as recommended, but a friend suggested with winter weather just around the corner, give 20-50wt a try. So we'll see how it works.
Kind of an easy one this week. Changed out the secondary fuel filters. I already have the spin on oil filter conversion, so I think I'm going to convert the primary and secondary fuel filters over to the spin on type. They just make changing filters a lot easier and cleaner. [thumbzup]
