62-65 tops out? You have other issues. Should easily top 70. How is your fuel system (filters, lines etc) have you confirmed 100% throttle on the linkage?
Here’s the deal. I already bought a set. I’m curious. So if I want to trash the parts I’m removing it’s my prerogative. I got plenty of money and I like the hub kit. I’m still curious.
I think I may have an extra “embossed” one.
I remember someone had letters in red white and blue? Can’t remember for the life of me who or where? I know someone did……
Abnormal bearing wear at low miles is almost surely a result of lots and lots of cold (after sitting not necessarily “cold”) starting by the vehicle checker. Of course going full throttle as soon as they light off to gear air pressure up doesn’t hurt. Got to remember their past life. Just my .02
Well mine are on the way. I have two A1R trucks, and I’m going to put these in the air drop one I have for sale. If I like them I’ll get another set for my 1078A1R and probably my 1084A0. We shall see.
Just don’t. These trucks were never designed with long term corrosion resistance and the salt will eat them alive. I lived in the rust belt (central NY) for decades and nothing ever really worked. May delay the inevitable, but it will take hold.
