I have the battery disconnect switch. I always leave it off but still the same after switching it back on. Im thinking a bad tcm.

Howdy. My M1078a1 wont crank, bot even using the switches under the cab. The fuse panel has the k34 differential led on and my transmission controler is stuck in mode once I turn on the power switch. Im lost.

Is the wire that connects to the front left negative post number# 1650? I have another thats #1651, and dont know where it goes.

Ok. I think i got the wiring right. The slave port now shows 24v. The generator has two alternating yellow lights. I have to wires in the pic below that i dont know where they go. The one with the terminal has 17vdc. Weird.

Yes, the only long cable that comes from under the cab is the ground.

Eaxtly. I have a long cable coming from the cabin side and 3 cables coming in from the disconnect box. I have seen plenty of vides and dont see what i have. Mine came without the cover so no diagram and i believe it was missing 2 of the positive to negative cables. I managed to get 12v and the...

No, i did not know they were one and the same. I also did not know that i could replace it without dropping the tranny. Looks like ive got some reading and ordering to do. Thanks alot guys.

So im probably gonna get a new flywheel and flexplate and save them for the day it all craps out. Then just get the starter rebuilt and do all at the same time.

Howdy folks. My starter sometimes cranks but the engine does not turn over. I took off the clutch cover and found that in some parts of the flywheel there were areas shaved off by the starter not engaging fully. Since I bought it, the m1008 ocasionally does it but otherwise it starts right up...
