Best of luck with your endeavors and please get us a video of the launching and hopefully very successful swim. Somewhere buried in the archives in here is a funny little tale of a guy floating his Goat for the first time with a buddy on shore giving him guidance....it's a real hoot.
You are a...
I didn't ask about cargo covers, but there is a separate advertisement for the end curtains also NIB. Another thread on a similar topic says he has no cargo covers.
Brand new cab covers for sale on that E place....new in the box, no mention of cargo covers, but if you go to the site you could ask him. He does also have new in the box cargo cover end curtains.
For those interested in new in the box cab covers for your Goat, that E-place has them listed at a surprisingly decent price. He also has new in the box cargo cover end curtains.
Now I have older ones in various degrees wear and tear for storage.
Not sure if the guy was pulling my leg or not...
Another shot at numbers is to check the bumpers, bumperettes and tailgate.....Army markings are different than USMC, USAF an USN just in case it was another service. As for mine I took the VIN which is 5 digits and put a 7 at the beginning since my truck is a 67' and it has USMC markings similar...
Lordy lordy...always wanted a Coot....got older and got a Gama Goat. Gama Goat hasn't been messed with hardly but it has a new garage around it. A Coot would very likely be upended and used as my headstone by the mizzuz. Not a very fitting use for such a fine machine says I. I can see Mike...

I just can't stay away..gotta chime in (again). We drve mine with M101 trailer up to Denver for a parade recently. Took the back roads insterad of the interstate and met a couple of othe MV'a along the way to run up together forthe big link up with several others at the parade. What should have...
I went thru several surplus parts outfits to find all the parts I needed to get my M715 all fixed up. Some have surprisingly good prices and others are in the "you gotta be $tuXXin me" price range. That place that auctions things starting with an "E" always has a variety of items listed. The...
I just absolutely love reading everyone else's posts about working on things and their useful pictures a few times before I venture out and cautiously consider doing anything to my trucks. For what it is worth......all of you guys have suffered and banged knuckles and cussed but not for in vain...
That place where you can buy / sell stuff on the internet ("something"-bay) would be a good start to locate said lever.......my guess is that finding a single lever would be harder to find than just biting the bullet and going for an entire switch assembly, but there some guys on there that do...
