749 tranny monkey business
So the 211 has always been adjusted poorly to shift down correctly. Was trying to adjust it and everytime I got it properly adjusted, all of a sudden it would go out of adjustment. Finally discovered the teeth on the shift down arm on the transmission were stripped...
I used a 5 ton repair kit from Eastern surplus. USMC was able to machine me a 5 ton piston and viola. Paul machined me a piston as prototype(it was an exact 5 ton setup)-it worked perfect.

Yes I would say it they had some leaky cylinders on that hub. Thats interesting that its a common fix. I figured some one would just use a cap/plug. whats ABDR stand for? Do you still work on helicopters?
