Good to see you back G! How’s the hand doing these days?

    M939A2/MT-654CR Air to air cooler

My 931A2 has been a workhorse for me; I turned up the fuel just a little bit, and increased the airflow (the air filter with the wire cage around it) which made a HUGE difference in reducing EGTs. I flushed the trans oil out and after complete filter changes filled it with Dexron III. It...

    Aussie f3 tanker

I'm sorry but your photos are extremely distracting...I am continually drawn to all the other "goodies" in the backgrounds!! I sure wouldn't complain if you were to post pics of all your other treasures around your yard..... [thumbzup]

Western Canadian Rockwell, MRAP to Deuce adapter plates. Do I have a problem?

You can always take the adapters to a fab shop or semi-truck wheel shop to put the proper Budd chamfer on them. From your pics, your adapters don't quite have enough of the proper Budd chamfer for the nuts/thimbles to center the wheel on the studs with.

New PURest air dyer install on M923A2

Yup and then it's swap time. Or when you find a replacement air dryer that is cheaper than a rebuild of the old unit, then it's swap time. YMMV.

    deuce fuel line question

Bill, the large hose is definitely your supply line; the medium line should be the fuel return line, and the smaller line should be a vent line. You can verify supply/return by simply powering on your Start lever in the cab (without engine running), you can hear the in-tank pump whining and...

    MTVR Cost

    If I had Simp5782 $$$$ I'd buy one.

    Overland 5-ton camper with a 20' container (now 40' !)

Look to see what the Overlanders use; I know there are durable but light cabinets & other materials they use in similar rigs with success. Custom wood cabinets that are durable are also very heavy. Weight will be a HUGE concern; weight adds up very quickly on these projects, and that's before...

    Overland 5-ton camper with a 20' container (now 40' !)

Make sure you fully enclose the storage ("garage") area where your motorcycle will be stored; otherwise, all you'll be smelling while lying in bed is oil, grease, exhaust, and rubber.

    M60 repair

Yes sir, Dec 1985 to around mid-1988; then off to 29 Palms for a year, and finally to North Carolina for my last 3 years. C Company, 3rd Platoon. I did spend my last 6 months or so at Las Flores in A Company, HQ Platoon, as an AVLB Instructor (got to go to Ft Leonard Wood, MO, to learn about...

Safely crane unrimmed tire into bed?

Strap preferred, but chain can be used too. The key is to make sure that nothing sharp is against the bead, hence the preference for straps. What you DO NOT want to do is place the hook directly in contact with the bead; that will place uneven stresses against the portion of the bead the hook...

    M60 repair

I've been doing a little research myself; I believe that the extra hoses from the exhaust back to the air filter boxes are an overpressure system to keep water out of the air boxes (air filters) while fording deep water...similar in concept to the fording valve on USMC Deuces to keep water from...

    Goodyear AT-3A vs Michelin XZL

This simp. I prefer the Goodyears, but plenty of people like the Michelins. You should be OK with either.

How can I stop melting terminals?

That is why I save old hoses/tubing; after cleaning any residue off of them, I put them over any electrical cables and/or hoses where chafing/rubbing might occur, and use some heavy-duty straps (sometimes even hose clamps) to secure them. Handy & saves $$$.

    Introducing the Soldier B HubHelper!!

I'll be ordering one of these next month; just got through upgrading home computer & network system, as well as some unintended medical expenses for this month. Nice job, this is an exciting development! I'll probably get one of your Deuce versions as well, can't hurt anyway.
