all i know is i put up a post a while back about gl running out of trucks and i got laughed at. i hope all of you have fun bidding on your space ships when the trucks run out.
i have seen people put them in the front of bobbers to make 14.00's and 1600s fit nicer and look nicer. not the way i would do it though. i have seen alot of mud trucks built that weigh almost as much as a bobber would and they are running lif blocks that are weld on, and huge tractor tires...
i beleive my drum is distorted causing vibration on my new truck. i think this because the e brake parts are all destroyed and linings were missing completley. my question is this, is there a certain torque value on the yoke nut or is it like a wheel bearing where it needs a correct preload??
when i changed mine i used a 40 ton iron worker electric hydraulic shear press. i was able to press a few out whole and a few blew apart and left the ring in like your broken one. i ended up using one of the ones that came out whole to press the rings out. i took a grinder to one that i used...
i will try and get some detail pics of the tow bar soon. its deffinetly a real manufactured towbar and not some home made jobber. all i know about it is that i got it when i was 16. someone gave me a chevy truck and said he could get a towbar from his jobso we could get the truck to my house. he...
went to lakehurst naval airstation today to pick up the newest member of the family. we towed it out with an M813 but i could have driven it home. the towbar made it easier on me and the guys at the site because i was in and out of there in about a half hour. i was shocked to see the batteries...
like it says im looking for an airshift case. i would just like to come and pick it up so i dont have to deal with setting up shipping. anything close to nj??
i actually saw a bobbed deuce forsale on gl once with some funky hand crank crane on the back and cucv seats in it so who is to say what is actually military correct and what isnt.
RE: I appreciate vintage but...
f150s are not multifuel, dont like water and have crappy drivetrain parts that are expensive. 10 people in the bed of an f150 will prolly break an axle. i also have never seen an f150 with a pto winch on it. why are you complaining anyway?? its not your truck and...
are they tapered like the lunettes on a water tank trailer?? i took a lunette off a water tank in a junkyard ontop of 3 stacked cars once and it came off really easy. if its tapered you should be able to whack the snot out of it until it breaks loose and should come out real easy
buddy of mine has one. if anybody is interested contact me in a p.m. for details. i'll have a classified add for it up later jst dont have time right at the moment to do one
i seen this in my latest issue of 4wheel and offroad. it looks like a real nice unit to put in a deuce. not 24 volt but theres ways around that. go to intercoms on the website. they have models you can plug cell phones into to use while driving and mp3 players to hear music. one unit will take...
i got me a speedy sticher. i had gotten some ripped canvases from a friend of mine and use them to cut patches out when i tear a good one. its also nice for fixing the seams and window zippers. takes a little bit of time but well worth its price.
