i had my hood blow open on my deuce once. i had a trailer on the back of it and it was pretty scary. i had to stick an ammo can on the valve cover and stomp the hood for a fem minutes to get it to shut halfway correctly

get permatex right stuff. it comes in a variety of containers but you most commonly see it in the pressurized can with the nozzle. its 1 minute gasket maker. it really nice
