this 813 came across on one of the fourwheeling boards im on. its forsale in florida someplace. looks like a nice job. i figured id post it here since it was a chopper and a crew cab too. asking price at 17k, i thought was reasonable for what it is and what work went into it.

heavy prepared iron was up to about $15 here but everything just took a dive. cars were $13 now they are $7

ive prolly pulled about 200,000 lbs over the scales in the bed of my deuce over the last 5 years. i freakin love junkin, especially with the deuce cause you never get your truck mixed up with someone elses by the scale house guy. the only bad part is the unloading by hand.

i made a new one for my truck, it was easy. mine got pinched shit from crushing cars. it has since been tucked up behind the crossmember to prevent this

mine sees a fair amount of water. i make sure to check the bearings, whether its just jackin up each wheel and seein if theres freeplay, or actually taking them apart. the problem with the 2.5 ton axles is that when the outer wheel bearing goes bad, enough freeplay can come into the bearing...

maybe brakekleen??? i used to use that stuff to steal good inspection stickers off junkers. might disolve the glue on your insulation.
