On diesels you can’t tell any lack of fuel unless you have almost none until you get boost. A boost guage will tell you how much power you are actually making.
Check to see if your controller lights are activated by the headlight switch. Late model m939 controllers did not show any signs of life until the headlights were turned on.
Wouldn't the wheel valves hold the air in the tires individually until 7psi pop off pressure is hit?
From my experience...
The 5 gold colored cylinders are the solenoids that control the air valves in the pcu(should only be 3 but this pic is from a mtvr). The transducer is the black sensor looking connection on the front middle.
Does anyone have the part number or an eBay listing for the 3 solenoids on the pneumatic control unit under the passenger side kickplate? Not talking about the pressure transducer.
Filtering the WMO is the most important part of the process. I have heard 60/40 or 70/30 wmo to gasoline is very similar to diesel consistency. You are really just trying to thin out the WMO to be able to smoothly go through your IP and lift pump without stressing them and over-pressurizing. A...
The m809 series trucks with the nhc 250 can run on essentially anything petroleum based as long as you have the correct ratio to get it to a similar consistency to diesel. Many run used motor oil or vegetable oil mixed into their fuel at a low percentage to lower price per gallon of diesel. Your...
Video would be good. If it is choppy then that sounds like it is starving for fuel but is odd due to it not happening in 3rd when the converter is locked. I do not recommend changing to dextron. 10w 40 engine oil will allow the transmission to last much longer pushing higher power out of the...
It could be shifting too early causing the engine to lug. Try to manually shift it through the gears near redline but let off of the throttle while shifting to not slip the converter too bad. See if it continues when doing that.
You may also have a boost leak causing you to lose power without...
Likely have a shorting wire causing a fault and gets hot. Take all the loom off of the wires and expose as many as possible. Have someone watch closely where the smoke is coming from while you start it up and you should be able to locate the bad wire/ module. If you have a more detailed symptoms...
