I'd like to add an extension to the rear of my 1998 M1079 similar to the one Michael Ladden did on the Drive the Globe M1079. Has anyone else done this? If so, was your frame steel or aluminium? How did you attach it to the M1079 habitat? Is there anything that you would do differently?
EcoHubs installed then front end alignment. Hopefully will get solar panels (Renogy 550 bifacial) installed tomorrow to clear up storage space to put seat and parts from cab while LizarsSkin sound and heat shields installed before heading back to work this weekend.

They are brand new. CARA has four 2008 and one 2005 tires that appear brand new with whiskers and no evidence of dry rot; however, I do not feel safe riding on them. The price of the new tires is less than my funeral would cost.
I converted CARA (1998 M1079) from four to two batteries. Installed replacement MWM air dryer. New tires arrived today. I’m awaiting O-rings to service CTIS when I mount them.
I've seen several pics of cab interiors that have multicam video displays of rear and side views. Given my mirrors tendency to rotate so I get excellent views of my door, does anyone have experience with brands that work well and/or brands to avoid?
