Yup, knocks about 4hrs total out of my day that could be used for studying which is all I’m really concerned about right now (besides the fuel cost)

OK, this will be attempt #2 to get this post loaded. I hope I remember everything that I had written the first time since it dumped it all. I finally had to just wait and use my school's internet. This is the most recent iteration of the ISO container frame design to allow for shipping...

6CTA8.3 engine rebuild for Sur Móvil

Nut wasn’t injested thankfully, it was sitting in the inlet piping for the turbo...or at least I assumed it was for the center shaft since I didn’t actually try to thread it on to verify. The engine rebuild was something that was planned, just not right now. I had planned to do the rebuild...

6CTA8.3 engine rebuild for Sur Móvil

After getting and oil change and the truck washed at Blue Beacon Monday night for the upcoming ISO frame build I got a flat tire... auaauaauaaua which led me to try to drive it for an additional 12miles into town Tuesday, after the 40miles limping it home with the rear axle bound up with a...

Sorry I havent posted anything in a while, I’ve been super busy since school started. Even though I’m going to be spending nearly all my time on school stuff this project will still be moving forward thankfully. I have a friend that I think I can trust with doing parts of it, and the first task...

I’ve loved seeing the updates on your build but I’m even happier to say that I finally have the money to officially start my project.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Where did you get the glass from? I've been wondering about that for when I need to replace mine.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The only time it'll change size is when you completely unload the axles or if you put the spring under max load, but considering these springs are nearly completely flat it shouldn't change much. Im thinkin to have it setup hanging above the tire's and drop over the tire's when needed and then...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The front axle hub and the rear chassis and bed. That has the been the only place I've gotten stuck out here, so once I create the half tracks for the rear I'll probably go to that same spot and try it again to see if the track will really help.

What did you do to your trailer today.

That looks REALLY NICE!!! I might do something similar in the bed of my 927, at least until I do my ISO conversion

    5 ton air lockers?

As long as the price is reasonable I'm game since I need them, just might take me longer to get them the more expensive they are.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Trans shifts fine, no downshifting or RPM changes other than slowing down. How does the gov springs effect it if it slows down due to lack of fuel and starts supplying fuel at 55 and accelerates like normal? Gov springs are on the list for this month, probably going to order them today, I'm just...
