    M35 rocker panel repair

I've just confirmed this! After some digging in my "junk-pile" and measuring a cut-up M939 cab, I can assure that the M35 rocker panel replacement parts in question will work for all three of the 5-ton series, as well. Dimensions are exactly the same as shown in my drawing, here...

    M35 rocker panel repair

.... M939 cabs are wider yes, but not longer. The doors are exactly the same for all.

    M35 rocker panel repair

I'm almost sure the M939-series have the same, also...

Where does this go? (I hate it when I have parts left over)

Lol - gladly accept - whenever...! (It might still take a while - until we can travel again without wearing these..................)

Where does this go? (I hate it when I have parts left over)

Found it: part #29 of the vertical exhaust "clean air" kit.

Those with A3 rims that don't leak... Clamp ring tightness

:ditto: .... unless of course that there is strong indication that the studs have been over stressed/stretched, now (?) The only way to actually confirm is to deflate, then knock out one or two (of the most protruding), and compare its thread pitch against a new stud, or a suitable gauge at least.

    M35 rocker panel repair

Sounds good! ... for the phosphatizing at least. Regarding powder coatings, some (or most) are terrible, if you had to MIG-weld those pieces together - which obviously is the case here. But I know that you know that...;)

    M35 rocker panel repair

Working on it right now.... OK, here you go.... See attached drawings, also in PDF, below. (all to scale & done with the good old MS-Paint ;-) ) Also a few more pics.... Dimensions were taken from what I believe is an original section - and those "round" numbers all make sense - but...

Need PTO 67' 2.5 ton deuce

It should be clarified that it is a T-Case PTO (Model P-136-C) that you want to add, in order to move a pump with enough pressure and flow, for your log loader/grapple to operate at adequate speed. 1st picture is the same, mounted in place, followed by the propeller shaft and hyd. pump. 2nd pic...

Functional wheel valve after CTIS removal (?)

I'm not sure if the CH-360-1 clip-on chuck will work on the AMG-4 valve (?) In the Haltec catalog it's listed under "Standard Bore Air Chucks".

Functional wheel valve after CTIS removal (?)

FYI, the stock FMTV valve stem is a HALTEC #AMG-4, shown here.... (Not to be confused with the Schrader large bore valves!) Specs- and possible solutions were discussed in this thread... Maybe better to post your questions there, or eventually start a new thread about it. Then I would move...

Rear tire is hitting leaf spring on sharp turns

Most likely, bad bearings in the spring seats. Read this post, that's how you check them for lateral play.

    Windshield Glass Size M813.

.... Correct, and here is a drawing I made of the inner WS-frame and its glass dimensions (ha..... posted almost a decade ago... ;-)) FWIW, M44- and M809-series trucks share the exact same windshield parts, inner and outer.

Two Piece Wheel Flange Nuts, Change?

    3/4"-16 tpi is correct.

Two Piece Wheel Flange Nuts, Change?

Yep, they all are - when new, at least. But in the practical world, that property may not last for too long; say one- or two disassembles and that's about it - especially if the studs got rusty already and nuts removed without cleaning/chasing the threads, first. That's why these are said to be...
