If that was the case you need 8 bolts, not one...!
Eight new bolts, even non-drilled - but properly torqued (with new lockwashers and maybe some thread locker added), are always better than one new- plus seven old ones, which are questionable, at best... IMHO
Oh, and do NOT use any full...
it's a Grade 8 bolt.
NSN is 5306-00-930-5248 (part # 10896726-1)
Bolt specs can be seen, here...
(According to that, the head has 2 holes, drilled to Ø 0.120".)
Now, if we go to the parts-TM for the early (gasser) M35 (ORD 9 SNL G-742), it shows a part # 7521631.
NSN and specs, below (this...
I can help you create one... if you (and maybe others here) help me.
Just open the attached PDF file (that's Cranetruck's revision, BTW); choose the area in question and a desired size (like 150%); then click on Edit, then "Take a Snapshot".............
and select the desired area...
I don't think it will help much, since it has NOT what Kenny is looking for...
BTW, we have that book in our own library, here...
If it doesn't exist - make one!;-)
Q: What is so different from Peter Bog's wiring schematic for the M35A2? I think we can always use that one as a base and...
TM 9-2320-211-20-2-2 from Dec 1980, Fig. 28-1 and 28-2. That's all the electrical schematics I could find.
And for the air system, there is one full diagram shown in Fig. 48-2, followed by the system for the trailer brakes.
But you prob found all that, already?
Glad we could help.
Now, did you edit my quote... right side to [left side] and why... :???:?
When you pull the shift lever to the left (drivers side) the shift plate actually moves to the right (passenger side). Said springs, as well as the 1st-R shift rail are on the right side of transmission.
Exactly. It's two springs actually and they only start compressing once the shift plate is moved out of neutral, to the right side, towards the 1st-R shift rail.
Not too difficult - if you have the right tools AND the will to get it done right. The Chinese tried, but it seems they didn't have either....
FWIW, I have studied this a bit. For anyone interested, here are the exact dimensions for both profiles, OEM vs. aftermarket, for the WS-frame lower...
I think this is resolved by now...?
Otherwise, just click on Postings, right under his UN, and scroll down.
It's been fixed already. Thanks for pointing it out.
They don't...
If we are talking about the bare wheel assembly, complete with its valve, O-ring and hardware, the 12-bolt with 3850# load cap. (Part# 12460178 ) weighs almost 42 pounds, while the paired 24-bolt @ 4540# load cap. (Part# 12518559) weighs 46.2 lbs.
Just those 12 extra bolts and nuts...
