We are re-furbing an M62, has the 6602 in it and, as far as I can tell, still runs solid. I'll know more after it gets done. It drove to the shop under its own power.
@swiss , you ever had to do the hydraulic lines from the pump up through the center to the slip ring?
Couldn't even begin to guess. It depends on location, condition, how bad someone wants one, a bunch of stuff. On the east coast, some things sell for more than out my way and some things out here sell for more than east of us.
It is like that because the things, in stock form, are enough to get t he car out the door. Don't buy new, they will be the same, just valve and spring them. My car went form harsh riding, bottoming over the smallest bumps to being able to cruise at 60 over 24 inch ruts.
The riding in your neck...
And, looking at the pic of the front suspension, the A arms do look to be the same as the civi ones. Measure the diameter of it as well as the diameter and length of the radius rods. And the size socket needed to remove the bolts for the radius rod bolts at the frame pivot. Two sizes were made...
And they work like crap. See the top spring? See how it is compressed all the way? It aint supposed to be like that, but, from the factory, they are adjusted like that. Does your car have suspension on it now? If so, find a place by you that does off rod shocks, pull them off and have them re...
Are there any truck salvage yards near you? It is a good possibility you could find used parts and install them. Including the pump and tank. You'll need to make or get made new hoses anyway.
That would be a good idea since these are just starting in our world. It could be like the 5t spread sheets Simp did, for now, and maybe after it has become more popular, stick it in the ATV/UTV forum.
That may be so, but it would suck to walk into one of those corners especially if it is at eye/head level. And, an aluminum top gets pretty hot even if painted a light color.
I have a '17 XP4 1000. 2017 was the first year for the larger diameter radius rods and A arms. I have seen one of these when Corps of Engineers drove one across the park to the Museum and when a BLM ranger pulled up into my camp out in the dez. The frame, cage, radius rods, A arms, bumpers...
Last week or the week before. Just after the last rain we had. The media hypes it up, not too bad here. I do have to say, I can't remember the last time it has rained steadily for three days straight. We did have a rare power outage last night. An oak tree the next block west of us either fell...
I snapped these pics and some of a GTB we have to put on the Museum website on the "Images" page. I like to change things up every other week or so so that it isn't the same-same. Who knows, I hope it brings people INTO the Museum. I still need to work on getting the security cert so the site is...
