New or rebuilt air pack? The reason for asking is that if I remember, there was an issue in the rebuild instructions in one version of the TM. It caused an issue, don't remember what it was. AND, if it was/is a new old stock air pack, things could be dried out, moisture could have got into...
That is a VERY slow leak, it will be hard to pin point. I don't think a smoke machine will put enough pressure into the system to make it leak. Even using windex it will still be a tough one to find.
I forgot pictures. Swabi? Thought it was Monkey?
Yes, the pump parts are perfect! The plan, if it isn't hot as the surface of the sun, is to slam it together Tuesday. Craig has opted to install all new fluid, so he should be ordering and picking it up before then. We have also decided to put a...
There are two different ones, one is small and the other larger diameter. The military one I think was the large one. What you did will work, until the brass wears out, You most likely aren't driving it 8-10 hrs a day, 6 days a week, so it will last a bit. Keep grease in it, it will last longer.
Yes, they were about $750. A kit that includes rotor, cam ring, vanes and o-rings. Craig called today and the parts are there. Ordered them Monday, came from Mi.
We also found a 3/4 wire rope end for the rear winch. Came out of Canada, apx $75 shipped. Got a notice that that is in customes...
You can buy cups alone. I have never tried to remove the seal on the piston. Also, brake fluid isn't a lubricant so it will not make the components slippery. Every MC or wheel cylinder I have built, I have used a product called McKays Brake Cylinder Assy Lube. Never had an issue, I use it for...
Swollen or hardened. Could be the V seal too. A rebuild kit is inexpensive, under $30 for one with a spring. Look up a rebuild kit for a FE777 master cylinder. Get a kit with a spring and check valve. try and avoid ChiCom made kits, the rubber in them is junk. NAPA can get them.
If that is you video, no it is not.
One of two things. Drive in the front has come apart, the drive flange is aluminum and keyed plus held in place with a 5/16 fine thread bolt. Or the gear pump shaft has sheared.
No matter, pump needs to come apart.
Check pedal free play, you should be able to push the pedal with your hand about an inch then feel the pushrod contact the piston. If no freeplay, adjust the pushrod, while you are there, pull the boot and see if the snap ring is still there and no fluid under the boot. Remove the MC cap and...
There are aftermarket, adjustable ones available. the better the pressure in the pump gallery, the better it runs. MW, which is what the A2 has uses the same valve as the P pump.

It was a 4B, Frito Lay had a fleet of them, like 200 nationwide.
When swapping, remember, the RPM of the inline engine and V are different. 2500 max on the inline, unless it is a Dodge take out, then it was 2800 and I believe 4k on the V. Each 100 RPM is apx 2-3 MPH, so if one were cruising...
The check valve or overflow valve is in the outlet or return at the fuel pump. AFAIK, there was not a check valve of any type on the engine mounted filter. Can you take a picture of what he said is the issue? Not the air dryer ;)
