I run a fleet John Deere 4045 engines at 10% load 95% of the time with short spikes into the 75% region. We expect nearly 40,000 hours out of a generator set. Wet stacking has not been a problem.
Stainless braided lines are not typically DOT approved due to issue related to salts (coastal or road) and stress corrosion cracking.
Edit: I assumed these were wheel brakes but not realize it's likely an exhaust brake.
As I describe above Champion was the worst filter I have cut and pressed. I would not recommend it for 5k+ oil changes. The nitrile anti-drainback valve was one thing but the fact that the filter media couldn't survive being pressed was shocking.
The EPDM (Gates Safety Stripe)hoses are sensitive to damage from oil exposure so if you have a leaky engine silicone will be a better option. Otherwise, they'll both provide long life at vastly different price points.

Fram uses cellulose fiber (I won't say cardboard) end caps for their filters. This creates the perception of cheap. Is it a problem? I don't know, the filter media is cellulose as well so why would there be a problem having cellulose ends?
Have you considered offsetting the front axle forward? I did the ORD zero rate and was able to fit 37 inch tires with only minor trimming of the front of the fender.

This one is important. I forgot to connect it after R/R'ing a head and the engine used the steel lines between brake master cylinder and proportioning valve as the ground. They started smoking while glow plugging.
