Hi guys, I got an order in for newly manufactured air-pack Control Valve Piston Seals (the ones for the G749 M211/M135 not included in the M54/M809 rebuild kit)
They are essentially identical to :
Part Number 374272 for the hydraulic side of the piston, and
Part Number 375833 for the air side...

Where would one begin to find an M54 power piston assembly to use in the modification of the M135 air pack, it appears I have hit the wall trying to get the PN's 274272 and 375833 replacement cup seals? Or optionally fabricate the power piston for the m54 out of SS 304. I need serious help. I...
I have a 52 M135 that had a blown CV, purchased in MA.
I bought an axle from NE.
I noticed that the nuts and studs all seem as though they were brushed over with Bitumen Paint..
Was this a standard practice coincidental to this era?
